Best Fishing Locations in Stellar Blade
While the Oasis is a great spot to start catching fish (and one you must revisit later), there are plenty of other fishing locations that you will want to visit to complete your collection.
Tips for Catching Fish
Make sure to buy Fishing Data and Advanced Fishing Data from Clyde’s Hut as soon as possible to improve your fishing skills and obtain medium or large rare fish types faster and easier.
Clyde's store will also sell all of the bait types that you'll require for catching each fish.

How to Catch Gigantic and Jumbo Fish
To catch the Gigantic and Jumbo fish, you must first complete the side quest “Where Is the Fantastic Bait?” to obtain Fantastic Bait, which is not available until you complete all fishing-related side quests first.
Small Pond near Xion’s Exit
There is a small pond located in the tunnel near Xion’s exit. You can find a variety of small and medium fish. However, it is necessary that you come back to this pond to catch the Channel Catfish required for “An Unforgettable Fish Dish” side quest.
Small Pond in Eidos 7
This pond is located near the clock tower, accessible by fast traveling through the Plaza Entryway and walking towards the clock tower location.
Some fish we successfully caught in this area were:
- Medium type fish such as the Mackerel, Koi and Channel Catfish
- Large Fish such as Mahi-Mahi and Halibut, the latter which is necessary for "Fish Research" Side Quest
Hidden Cave North of Solar Tower in Wasteland
Another great spot, and one you will find yourself visiting quite often, is the hidden cave north of the Solar Tower in the Wasteland.
Here you can catch many large fish, such as the Sailfish, once you have bought the advanced fishing data.
The Plant in Wasteland
Another fantastic location...indeed, because this is the spot the Fantastic Bait is located! However, you can only obtain after accepting Where is The Fantastic Bait request from the Bulletin Board. Meanwhile, you can get various large and medium fish from this spot.
Oasis in the Great Desert
Of course, we can not discard the place where it started it all. In fact, here you can find the entire small fish collection!
As well as the not so small ones! A little help from the Fantastic Bait will help you get the 2 Jumbo fish category here!
Eidos 9 - Atelier
The final best fishing location, which is after the first point of return, is Eidos 9 when reaching the Atelier. Here, you'll find a path that breaks away, allowing you to fish in a small body of water.
This missable location is one of the best spots to get all 3 Gigantic fish types. Since all side quests are locked after this point, it is best that you finish every fishing related side quest before this point. However, you can still continue fishing after such point; therefore, the possibility of finishing your collection late in the game and getting the Ocean Maid costume from Clyde once you report to him.
